Wrong gate. Wrong dock. Wrong information.

DockGuide gives delivery drivers verified loading dock access instructions, safety requirements, and hazard warnings before they arrive — so your fleet stops figuring it out at the gate.

Our purpose is simple:

Ensure commercial drivers arrive prepared, compliant and informed before entering a site.

Used by transport operators delivering to shopping centres, hospitals and commercial precincts across the Hunter region and beyond.

Delivery dock confusion happens every day

  • Wrong gate entries — drivers arrive at the wrong access point
  • Constant phone calls — drivers calling for directions from the boom gate
  • Congested loading areas — vehicles blocking access roads while they figure it out
  • Safety compliance issues — drivers are unaware of PPE or induction requirements until they get there

DockGuide prepares drivers before they arrive

  • Correct gate entry — drivers know exactly which gate to use
  • Step-by-step dock access — clear approach instructions from the road to the bay
  • Safety requirements — PPE and site rules shown before arrival
  • Hazard awareness — drivers arrive knowing what to watch for

What drivers see before arrival

Every large site has different rules. Different gates. Different induction requirements.

Most drivers find out when they get there. DockGuide fixes that.

General FAQ

Where does DockGuide operate?

Currently focused on the Hunter region and Newcastle, NSW. Fleet DIY members can enter any site in Australia. The verified database is being built site by site from the Hunter outward.

No. It’s an operational tool built by someone who has worked in these environments. The technology serves the problem — not the other way around.

Every listing clearly shows whether it’s verified by site management or submitted by a fleet. Verified listings are confirmed by the site’s operations team and show the date last reviewed. Fleet-submitted listings are practical and useful — but clearly marked as unverified. You always know what you’re looking at.

Every dock page has a “Suggest a correction” button. Takes thirty seconds. Goes straight to us and we review it — safety-critical flags within 24 hours.
